Digital TV -> Sashimi Strategy: The Prime Fish is the winner

Let me share my memory when we crossed over to fiscal 2013,  "Digital TV" is the first headache issue which I faced on the first day for new fiscal year.. why?

As everyone knows well this year, Thailand is all set to start to process of switching its TV broadcasting system from the current analog to a digital system under DVB-T2 (version 1.2.1).

Of course, in term of TV manufacturers those who able support Digital TV by having a built-in digital TV tuner inside TV, it's supposed to gain to have a huge competitive advantage to gain more share from social demand or halo effect...

However, the uncertainty of digital broadcasting law that attacks us severely about the importing & selling DTV during 1-2 month, since we are the first mover who're ready to show off & shout out loud in the market. BUT in the ended is we have to keep it quiet until NBTC official announcement.

Anyway, as a first mover, I believe we're ready to jump into this Red Ocean by using the plan called "Sashimi Strategy"

Actually, this strategy "Sashimi Digital Strategy" is called firstly by Lee Kun-hee (Samsung Chairman) who believe that an first innovation product is similar like a prime fish... that fish is very expensive and every customers have willing to pay for without asking for discount, while fishes in hypermart need to be discounted more & more in the late evening...

it's easy to understanding, right?

Hence, I hope the next 3 months Sony DTV line-up can be the prime fish which is demanded by Thai customers untill the second Korean fishes arrive
