Inspired by: SEAP library in HQ Office and what I posted in i-SPARC this month.
Have you borrow any books from SEAP Library before?
I think many eager staffs went there to search some interested books for their self-study? but most of them might a bit disappointed due to 80% of those books are Japanese books !!
Actually, we should sincerely thanks big boss & all management guys who donated those books for our self-study & improvement, unfortunately many local staffs couldn't read those books...
Today I went there for looking for books to read, BUT couldn't find anymore, that INSPIRED me to share MY IDEA about how to improve OUR small Library to be SONY Knowledge Sharing Hub for everyone can learn & study from it
With this, I would like to share my idea about " SONY 1 Department > 1 Book Donation (monthly Project)" which its concept is
1) Initiate CSR corporate PJ by persuading each SONY DEP (team) donates 1 book every month
> Maybe big boss can be a project ambassador to donate his books (in English :D), and persuade all department heads donate their books (at least 1 book) for this PJ
> Thus, those dep heads might be a team leader to assign their team to donate their books (rotation to donate one person in each month ) 1 books a month
> For special occasion, this PJ commitee (maybe FRCSH members) announce the theme / concept of book sharing such as the month of Novel book / How to book etc
2) Update PC to be ‘SEAP Knowledge Sharing Hub” for Sony staffs able to share e-books Audio books for other Sony e-book readers or tablet users
3) Assign FRCSH team (or using current SEAP Library site) update newly books & update new arrival books to all Sony staffs (via monthly mail update)
4) Give quarterly award (ex. token award & voucher) for most borowed books (to the owner of those books) or most donated book staffs
With above activities, I do believe that our company will have a tons of interesting books in our library for our-improvement without any investment, just only from our sincerely sharing with our slogan "YOUR BOOK OUR KNOWLEDGE OUR FUTURE"
